European Week of Sport Key Players’ Seminar
With the collaboration of Sport Ireland, the European Commission’s Sport Unit has organised a seminar in Dublin on 10-11 May 2017 for representatives of national coordinators from 31 participating countries and 35 European Partners of the Week.
True to the main message of the #BeActive campaign, the programme has not lacked physical activity. The Seminar kicked off with a #BeActive meeting session and team building activities, followed by a tour to the Sport Ireland Institute and Fit 4 all Expo, where participants could get a glimpse of inspiration from the variety of activities presented there. The evening of the first day was dedicated to a walking tour of Dublin.
The second day included a plenary session on the latest developments on the European Week of Sport and two parallel sessions. An interactive workshop for social media specialists has focused on how to maximise the Week’s social media reach and activities. Parallel to that, a networking session for national coordinators and partners were organised.
Réka Veress Hungarian National Coordinator has shared her personal impression about the seminar with ENGSO:
“Since I became a #BeActive mom last year, thus I had to skip some personal meetings, it was great to be back in the EWoS group and catch up with the latest developments.”
