ENGSO is one of the partners in project iSport
On Wednesday, 24 February 2021, ENGSO Secretary General Sara Massini and ENGSO Policy Director Laurent Briel participated in the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ funded project Inclusion in Sport (iSport).
iSport is led by EUSA Institute and aims to promote diversity and social inclusion in sport by enhancing the sporting experience of all participants – athletes and volunteers, especially targeting women, LGBT+ and people with disabilities. The project also promotes equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all. The final outcomes of iSport will be an online course (MOOC) and an interactive learning tool.
ENGSO’s role is to develop the first intellectual output, the quality assurance plan.
Other project partners include: EUSA Institute (coordinator of the project, SLO), Panteres Grogues Sports Club (ESP), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GRE), Finnish Paralympic Committee (FIN), University Sports Association of Poland (POL), European Paralympic Committee (AUT) and European Gay and Lesbian Sport Federation Vereniging (NED).
