ENGSO LOGO Poem
An azure bridge and a yellow star          There are those who might ask, why they are          The ENGSO logo, and what they mean          The answer's our aims, our hopes, our dream                    The bridge it will help span many a gap          People may cross without fear or mishap          It will link all the nations from every place          No matter the colour, the gender or race                    A star is a symbol, it shines in the sky          It's something to aim for no matter how high          From beginners to veterans there's always a place          For all who take part and join in the race                    At the ENGSO Assemblies we are but a few          Of the many millions, who want us to do          Our best representing their wishes and dreams          for the future of sport and all that it means                    So welcome dear friends both the old and the new          Your commitment ot ENGSO will see us get through          Our tasks, which are many with objectives so high          But our bridge it will help reach that star in the sky.

Dear ENGSO Members and experts in education in sport,

The question of education in sport is also an important part of ENGSO family. We would like to know more and develop the position of education in sport.  For this purpose we have made the analysis according to the data from ENGSOEDU Questionnaire that we have received from only 13 members.[1]

The ENSOEDU Analysis was presented on the ENGSO GA which was held in Istanbul. The future step forward is to run up the ENGSOEDU Network. You can find it attached to this email the Proposal of the ENGSOEDU networks’ content and main aims.

According to the ENGSOEDU Analysis and the data from the ENGSO List of experts 2008 we have took in consideration all potential people as you can see in the Table 1. (in apendix) We have marked the people who are responsible for education in sport from the data of ENSOEDU Questionnaire in blue.

Please, would you be so kind and follow this instruction:

1.       Please check the name and other information of people which your organisation has appointed as a responsible person for education in sport. We would like to suggest that you define the one person in each organisation. For each person we need the following information: country, name of person responsible for education in sport, contact mail, contact phone and fax.

2.       Please, if your organisation hasn’t appointed the person, we would kindly ask for your help to find out who is interested in cooperation and to work in ENGSOEDU Network. If you find this person, please fill up the name and other important information directly in Table 1

3.       Finally, we would like to see from all of you the answers according to your decision (positive or negative). If you aren’t interested in the cooperation and being part of ENGSOEDU Network please write your short explanation and if you have better proposal for this part of sport.

We intend to collect all information till September 2008 and to run up the ENGSOEDU Network during the October or November 2008.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

 Best regards,

                                                                                                    Romana Caput-Jogunica,
